| This story is adapted from an ancient Chinese myth. It tells the tale of Lin-Lin, a girl who loves seagulls. Each day she visits the sea and plays with her gulls. Each day on her way home she visits her friend the old lady, who cannot visit the sea. One day the old lady asks Lin-Lin to capture her a basket of gulls to keep in her hut. Lin-Lin is forced to make a difficult decision, but ultimately it is the gulls who make the decision for Lin-Lin.
